| Ingredients for won ton |
1 egg |
250 gms plain flour |
salt |
water |

| Method |
Sift the flour and salt into mixing bowl. |
Make a well in the centre and break the egg into it. |
With the help of wooden spoon fold the flour into the egg and then add the required amount of water to make a stiff dough. |
Knead the dough with your hands. |
Roll out as thin as possible with a rolling pin on lightly floured board. |
Cut according to requirement. |

| Noodles |
Slice into ½ cm thin slices and hang over the back of chair to dry out. |
Soft Noodles: Boil for 5-7 minutes in boiling, salted water. |
Crisp: Fry in deep fat until golden, and drain. |
Won Tons: Cut in 6 cm squares. |
Dumplings: Cut into 10 cm diameter rounds. |
